Our history
Chapter 1
1985
Street Quinn Accountants was founded in 1985 by Richard Street and Tony Quinn, two accountants committed to providing trusted, practical advice to individuals and small businesses. Their vision was simple: create a practice built on integrity, accuracy and genuine relationships with the South Coast community.
Chapter 2
1989
In 1989, Phil Balding acquired the practice and became its dedicated steward for over three decades. Phil's commitment to excellence and personal service strengthened the firm's reputation and deepened its roots in the local business community.
Chapter 3
2025
In July 2025, Phil entrusted the business to Daniel as part of his retirement , a significant milestone in the firm's journey and a commitment to continuity of service for every client.

Today
With Daniel at the helm, Street Quinn enters an exciting new chapter. Four decades of trust and local knowledge now meet cloud technology, proactive planning and national reach. We serve clients locally in Nowra and right across Australia, with the same trusted, relationship-driven service our clients have always counted on.

Daniel Pienaar CA
Director and Chartered
Accountant
Bio:

With over 20 years in public practice, Daniel brings extensive experience as an accountant primarily supporting the SME sector. His journey began in 2002 at a boutique firm in regional South Africa, progressing to a larger practice in Pretoria in 2008 where he deepened his expertise in external auditing.
A move to Sydney in 2010 marked a new chapter, culminating in his qualification as a Chartered Accountant in 2013. In 2020 Daniel founded his own firm, and in July 2025 he proudly acquired Street Quinn Accountants, a respected practice established in 1985 and deeply embedded in the South Coast community.

Now based on the stunning NSW South Coast since 2019, Daniel is passionate about client engagement, understanding unique goals and challenges and delivering meaningful solutions that add real value.
Outside of work, family is central to his life. Coastal living reminds him of the importance of time well spent, whether enjoying local beaches, exploring nearby parks or the occasional motorcycle ride.
